If you are anything like me, a proud music lover…then you are most likely enthusiastic about the idea of wearing the best band t-shirts you can get your hands on. Whenever I wear a Saosin t-shirt, an Underoath t-shirt, or a Led Zeppelin t-shirt it’s like a billboard conveying my appreciation for music to anyone who sees me that day. Not only that, but it’s a way of attracting other music lovers in everyday life.
How many people do you walk by every day? How many of those people could potentially be your new best friend if only they new how much you loved their favorite band? There’s nothing quite as satisfying as finding a new friend that appreciates a band or artist just as much as you do.
When I was growing up, there were basically just two places to find band t-shirts cheap, and neither were exactly an easy experience. The first go-to place for the best band t-shirts was Hot Topic. So the thing about band shirts is that a lot of people out there like to counterfeit them. You may not know this, but the Bands and Artists have to approve the apparel company making or selling their band shirts. It makes sense. Music is a hard thing to monetize, especially when you are an up and coming band without resources.

2. Another great way to spot “fake” or “unlicensed” band t-shirt is by checking the quality of the product picture. Many counterfeiters don’t go to the trouble of having decent product photos. Many of them won’t even take a photo of a physical t-shirt, but rather create “mockups” that don’t require having the physical product.
