There are a million great aspects to playing guitar, but there are a few things that annoy EVERY SINGLE guitar player… So many guitars out there, and so little time to play them, or buy them for that matter. Guitars are f-ing expensive!
If you plan on being a guitarist…just know that you are gonna need money, and lots of it to fund your guitar habit. Your average, halfway decent Gibson or Fender guitar is gonna run you at least $750 to $1000 just for something playable. They can cost a hell of a lot more than that for Pro models (for the professional, touring guitarist). Most of the time you may only be able to afford a miniature les paul.

That’s just the start of the expenses. You have to have some sort of amplification. Decent tube amps, or even digital modelers will cost you a few grand as well. Then there is the cost of strings, maintenance, accessories, etc.
My point is…Many of us never get to experience the joy of owning more than a dozen or so guitars over the course of our lives. I think that’s a big reason behind this new development of Mini Guitar Collectibles making waves in the Guitar market. My guitar followers on Instagram always give a ton of likes for the miniature les paul model guitars.
Mini Guitar Collectibles? What like a toy model guitar or a mini guitar replica? Are you kidding me? I’m sure at least one of these questions popped into your head, and you’re thinking you are way too old for miniature guitars. But, don’t be too quick to judge.
I think it’s fair to say these miniature guitars go well outside the bounds of a toy, and venture more into the conversation piece, and EXACT mini guitar replicas realm. I mean, think about what it would take for you, to have an idea, and then be passionate and determined enough to see it all the way through to the end product being sold everywhere. There are so many hurdles, it’s hard to imagine where you would even start, at least for me.
I imagine a few of the hurdles would be, designing it, manufacturing it, sourcing the raw materials, finding the right artists, building the company structure, distribution, sales relationships, a website….I mean the list would just keep getting longer by the day. So when someone does manage to do it, it’s worthy of our attention, and fascinating to ponder the story behind such a monumental effort.

When the Kalamazoo factory unveiled the Flying V as part of Gibson’s Modernistic Series in 1958, many in the industry had their doubts about the success of the unusual design. As strange as it may seem, you can own a whole lot of Gibson and Fender guitars, just not the size you might have imagined. Axe Heaven guitars are constantly releasing new models, and they’ll no doubt be an interesting company to watch grow.
